No matter where you are in the world, the easiest way to get involved in Conservation is with a beach cleanup. We had a great time working with Two Oceans Aquarium to clean up the coast on a beautiful sunny day! We found mostly plastic, which is the biggest contributor to pollution on beaches and oceans around the world. By picking it up off the beach, you’re preventing garbage from getting back into the ocean, and helping the plastic pollution crisis for our oceans! Clean beaches also mean a better ecosystem for all of the animals that live on the beach, including turtles. Next time you’re on holiday or visiting the beach, take some time to clean up the garbage on the coast. It’s quick and easy, and makes a big impact!
