The Foundation works with Heyerdahl Climate Parks in Myanmar to plant mangrove trees each year. In February we donated 100 Trees and plan to donate many more this year.
Mangroves are considered a superhero tree for all of their benefits for the environment. Mangroves stabilize coastlines, providing an ecosystem and protecting from erosion. On top of that, mangroves remove three to five times more carbon from the atmosphere than typical trees!
